Decision Pigeons
We've whipped up a bunch of cool pigeon animation loops just for the Decision Pigeons app by Paper Crane Factory. If you're tired of endless dinner debates, give the app a shot and let our feathered friends take charge of your mealtime choices!

We started this project by looking for the right illustration style to capture the shabby nature of the pigeons.
We loved this aesthetic, but unfortunately, it didn't translate seamlessly into a Lottie animation format. Consequently, we made the decision to strip away the textured elements, streamline the character designs, and immerse ourselves in the animation process.
We crafted three subtly distinct pigeon designs and created multiple movement loops for each one. Every animation sequence started and ended with an identical pose, with the intention of enabling versatile combinations within the app by reusing these animations to generate unique sequences. Subsequently, all animations were exported as Lottie files and handed over to the development team for implementation.
